Stuart graduated from Edinburgh University in 1986 and worked in Bristol and Jersey before moving to NZ in 2014 working in Christchurch, Nelson, Greymouth and Wellington before settling in Tauranga.
He commutes to Wellington and Taupo every month, where he has orthodontic lists; he tries to avoid extractions where possible and is an advocate of functional appliances in growing adolescents, where the jaws do not match. He holds a Diploma in Orthodontics and is currently studying for his Masters in Orthodontics.

Stuart is constantly looking for the best materials and products to use on patients, to give the best and longest lasting results.
Paul brings many years of experience to the practice having worked as NHS Dentist in England until November 2020. He has a compassion and humour in his chair side manner that enables him to set his patients at ease.
A native of Christchurch Paul attended Birmingham Dental school graduating in 1997. Initially working in the Oral surgery department at a large teaching hospital in the UK, he then spent 12 months in a post graduation programme to gain full certification to practice general dentistry.
Before returning to New zealand Paul had been heavily involved in trialling in a pilot within the NHS to implement a much more preventative approach to Dentistry across England. This involved the patients taking a greater part in making informed decisions regards their treatment. He is passionate in offering the patients all the available treatment options and discussing their benefits to help the patient make an informed co-decision on their outcomes.

Colette has been a dental assistant for her entire working life, both in the UK and in Tauranga. She has been integral in helping care for our patients in this practice for over 12 years. Not to be confused with the mother from Bates Motel, Colette will always greet you with a smile and a cheerful laugh and is extremely good at putting patients at ease. In her spare time Colette is a very dedicated Mum and Nana to her 6 grandchildren. She enjoys the beach, walking and riding her bike (although after her last injury we are staging an intervention on bike safety). One of Colette''s favourite past-times is mowing lawns and water-blasting and we are very confident that she applies these well-developed skills to her job of cleaning tools and instruments here at work.
Georgina trained and worked as a school dental nurse after leaving school until starting a family. She comes from a diary farming background and enjoys walking, beach and city life. She has previously owned her own businesses but now is back in the dental world and enjoying her job very much.
Lisa has enjoyed many happy years as a midwife, but recently has become a key part of the practice. She has a Certificate of Dental Assisting to keep her informed of best dental practice.

I really appreciate you guys being open for emergency dental treatment during the lockdown period. You saved my day, could have been so much worse.
Thank you Stuart for the wonderful job you have made of my two front teeth. They look better than they have for a very long time.
I am so grateful that you offered me the option to splint my wobbly teeth. It has been the best choice for comfort and affordability. I am so thrilled with the results and the fact that now I don't need a denture.
I had a very positive experience with Matthew. He was very thorough in planning my treatment and he is a very kind, caring Dentist.
We have attended Elizabeth Street Dental Practice for many years and have always found the team to very caring and friendly. Thank you for looking after us so well.
As you know Stuart I am a very nervous patient. You were so gentle and I didn't even feel you giving me my injection. I will definitely be coming back and recommending you to my friends.
